A Better Work Experience
The new campus was created to improve experiences for both our employees and our customers. In addition to size constraints, the current Peterson campus faced a number of equipment and environmental safety concerns. The new site offers a cohesive campus layout tailored specifically to the company work flow. The site also provides regulatory approved pollution control measures to minimize environmental impact.
The Best Site Possible
The list of requirements for the new campus was long, so location prospects were limited to a small handful. Our selection process included, size, environment and access for both our regional customers and our employees. We’re excited to share the improvements in safety, efficiency, and environmental cleanliness of the new site, and we think you’ll agree they far outweigh the disruption of the relocation.

What Makes the New Facility More Efficient
1. Sensible Layout
The buildings housing the different departments have been placed to make sense with the typical workflow on the site. For example, the parts department, which needs to be accessed by all other departments, will be centrally located. On the current site, employees often travel 20-30 minutes to retrieve parts. Since equipment typically needs to be cleaned when it enters the facility, the wash racks have been situated at the entrance. The wash rack uses an enzyme digester which traps hydrocarbons so they can be disposed of in an environmentally responsible
way.
2. Energy Efficiency
Designed for energy efficiency, the heating systems in the climatized spaces operate at approximately one third the cost of standard gas systems.
3. Freeway Access = Better Circulation
The site also features freeway access on the east and west sides, supporting efficient circulation. Well-planned movement of people and equipment increases safety on the site.
