Portland Community College’s, ThinkBig Dealer Service Technology program is an industry-specific, two-year associate degree program with required on-site internships and a focus on preparing students to become qualified and experienced Caterpillar Service technicians. The new building we’ve created doubles the amount of space previously available for ThinkBIG on campus, allowing the college to improve the delivery and deepen the offerings of this specialized training program.

The 15,590 sf pre-engineered metal building includes reception, open office, department chair office, conference room, and kitchenette and 8000 square feet of service area.


The shop is outfitted with 18 workstations, 3 bridge cranes, and 1 JIB crane, complete with a covered outdoor training area.
