The site for the first Cedartree Hotel in the United States was selected from one of our Build-ready properties. When the client came to us, the land was already prepped for building. Though the property is zoned for industrial use, we were able to work with our contacts at the city to allow the hotel to be built. The concept for the property is similar to the Cedartree Hotel’s Japan properties, but with an American twist. We hired U.S. based SERA Architects to execute the design. The one-of-a-kind property features traditional Japanese bathing facilities with an Onsen and Big bath, sake bar, tea ceremony room, restaurant, conference rooms, and spacious guest rooms.
