Julie Pfluke
With over twenty years of extensive experience in the industry, Julie Pfluke is no stranger to the challenges and rewards of working in construction. An assistant project manager at Robert Evans Company, Julie is dedicated to ensuring client satisfaction and timely delivery with each new undertaking. With a passion for problem-solving and an eye for resolution, you can find evidence of Julie’s capability in everything she delivers on behalf of our team.
Originally from Pendleton, Oregon, Julie moved to Portland in 1997. She holds a Bachelor’s in the French and Spanish languages and is certified as a Sustainable Home Professional from Earth Advantage. She found her start in construction after attending a 6-month program at the Portland Community College, a course designed to inspire women and minorities to explore a career in the trades. Julie became passionate about construction,
inspired by the ever evolving and changing industry. She became excited to have a part in building edifices that would improve communities and shape lives.
Her first foray into construction was a carpentry apprenticeship, and in the years following, Julie’s career has evolved to one of impressive depth. Working in project management in residential and commercial construction allows her to leverage her extensive experience and capitalize on opportunities to improve project outcomes. From the initial scope of work to final client approval, Julie considers herself fully vested in maintaining an interactive approach, associating herself with all activities and people involved until they have completed the project.
Julie appreciates working in an environment that fosters positive relationships between coworkers. She praises members on the team as being “generous with credit to others” and enjoys working with those who share recognition for a job well done. When Julie isn’t working hard to ensure efficiency and productivity on the job site, you will likely find her enjoying time off at home, cooking for her family, or binge-watching Netflix with her three boys.
